Entercom Station WFAN to Provide Continuous Coverage of New York Sports Teams During Upcoming Season
Station to Split Signals on FM and AM Dials For Select New York Yankees and Giants Game Broadcasts
PHILADELPHIA, PA – August 8, 2019 – Entercom, a leading media and entertainment company and the unrivaled leader in sports radio, today announced WFAN (WFAN-FM/AM), New York’s flagship sports station and the radio home of the New York Yankees and New York Giants, will split its FM and AM signals on select dates to provide listeners continuous coverage of both teams. During conflicting game dates, New York Giants football games will be broadcast on the station’s AM dial Sports Radio 66 (WFAN-AM). Coverage of Yankees baseball games will continue to be heard on FM dial Sports Radio 101.9 (WFAN-FM).
