Blake Shelton Joins Katie Neal on Audacy’s “On the Record” to Discuss His New Album “For Recreational Use Only”

Blake Shelton kicks off Audacy’s next installment of its new album release program, “On The Record,” Sunday, May 11, with host of “Katie and Company,” Katie Neal. The hour-long special will give listeners a behind-the-scenes look at the making of his new album, “For Recreational Use Only.” Listeners can tune in to Audacy’s local Country stations and on the free Audacy app at 7:00 p.m. local time as Shelton discusses his first album in four years.
“There’s another level of intimacy shared when an artist breaks down their thoughts behind an album, and we’re thrilled to have Blake join ‘On the Record’ to share that process with our Country music fans,” said Tim Roberts, Country Format Vice President, Audacy. “We have a great relationship with Blake and can’t wait for our audience to connect with him and the new album even more.”
Shelton will also appear on “Friday Night Takeover” with Audacy’s nationally syndicated Country show “Rob + Holly” on Friday, May 9, at 7:00 p.m. local time to coincide with his “On The Record” album release special.
Audacy’s “On The Record” allows listeners to celebrate their favorite musicians by exploring their creative processes and the stories behind their music in depth. Previous new album release specials include Country stars Riley Green, Thomas Rhett and Lainey Wilson, pop artists Billie Eilish and Camila Cabello, and Alternative rock band twenty one pilots.
Listeners can tune in to Audacy’s “Blake Shelton: On The Record” nationwide on-air across Audacy Country stations and on the Audacy app and website.
