Background

Anoka, a Northwest suburb of Minneapolis, hosts an annual Christmas Tree Lighting event each year. The city wanted to create buzz and excitement about it to drive attendees to come early and shop the retailers and dine at the restaurants.

How We Helped

We created a high-frequency, one-week radio and streaming campaign on WCCO Radio, and used :15 second spots the first year, followed by short traffic/weather sponsorships in the following year, stating “brought to you by the Anoka Christmas Tree Lighting.”
