Audacy Launches New Season of “Campus Files” Podcast

Original Weekly Series Explores Scandals and Controversies Shaping Higher Education, Historical and Contemporary

Audacy’s “Campus Files” – an original weekly podcast series exploring the scandals and controversies shaping higher education, both historical and contemporary – returns for a second season today, Wednesday, March 11, everywhere podcasts are available. New episodes will be released weekly on Wednesdays. Listen to the trailer, first episode, and follow the show here.

College holds a mythic place in American culture, hailed as the best four years of your life and revered as a beacon of integrity and excellence. But behind the polished campus tours and glossy brochures lies a far more complicated reality. Each episode of “Campus Files” uncovers a new story, investigating how institutions built on ideals of integrity and excellence can become magnets for controversy.

This season, hosts Margo Gray and Ian Mandt explore stories including: Yale’s naked freshman photo scandal; the political battles engulfing Texas A&M; the Cold War espionage ring known as “The Cambridge Five;” Lane Kiffin’s dramatic college football career; the business of sorority consulting; the tragic death of a Bucknell football player and what happened when DOGE came to Brown University.

Margo Gray and Ian Mandt are Audacy producers and journalists specializing in original documentary podcasts. Their past projects include the award-winning series “It Was Said,” “About a Boy,” “The Sunshine Place,” and “Gangster Capitalism.”
