WCBS-FM 101.1’s Foxx and Annie In The Morning Raises Over $60,000 for America’s VetDogs
Audacy New York’s WCBS-FM 101.1’s “Foxx and Annie in the Morning” show raised over $60,000 for America’s VetDogs, exceeding their fundraising goal by $10,000.
Foxx and Annie, visited America’s VetDogs on Long Island and after speaking to veterans, saw firsthand how impactful service dogs are. They received an inside look into the training process and saw how service dogs are capable of saving lives and bringing families back together. Efforts from this fundraiser will provide a life-saving service dog to a local hero, amplify what service dogs do for our soldiers and support our veterans in honor of Veterans Day.
Foxx and Annie said, “There is no better feeling leading up to Veterans Day than raising funds to provide a service dog to a heroic veteran. The community of WCBS-FM is strong and that showed in the beautiful messages left with the donations. Our hearts are full. Thank you for showing up for our veterans!”
This initiative has a personal connection to both Foxx and Annie. Annie’s dad served in the Army and was born on the 4th of July. The WCBS-FM audience loved this positive initiative and helped Foxx and Annie raise $60,078.34 in total for the VetDog fund. More on the fundraiser can be found here.
