Three Audacy Leaders Honored in Radio Ink’s Best Managers in Radio
Three Audacy leaders have been named one of the best managers in radio by Radio Ink. We asked our leaders what being named “best radio manager” means to them and a leadership tip to pass along.

Claudia Menegus, Regional President, Audacy
- “It means I have a lot of people to thank! It’s a privilege to be surrounded by amazing and talented people. So many have influenced and shaped who I am as a leader. I’m grateful for that, for my teams, and the recognition.” said Menegus
- Leadership Tip: “Be authentic, who you are is how you’ll lead.”
Mike Thomas, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Audacy Boston
- “This is a reflection of multiple things, and I’m honored. First, a manager is only as good as the team around him. I have been so fortunate to work with so many smart, talented and creative people over my 38 years in this business. Second, there is another long list of people who have helped me and supported me in my career. I would not receive recognition like this if it wasn’t from all the people I have had the privilege of working with and working for.” said Thomas
- Leadership Tip: “You just have to have passion about what you do, a desire to win and just show you care. I know that probably sounds oversimplified, but I believe it. If the people you work with see how much you care and how hard you want to succeed, that is contagious. If there are people on your team that don’t care and don’t want to work hard, it’s time to make some tough decisions.”

Micah Goldberg, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Audacy Denver
- “I’m truly honored and humbled by this recognition. It wouldn’t be possible without the incredible Denver team that embraces bold and sometimes crazy ideas and cultivates such a supportive, inspiring culture. Not sure there’s a higher honor for me than my team’s support.” said Goldberg
- Leadership Tip: “Set the bar high! But don’t just point to it. The best results come when your team knows you’re not only expecting excellence but also willing to roll up your sleeves, carry some of the load, and work beside them to get there.”
