Entercom Partners With New York Yankees, New York Giants, New York Mets and the NCAA to Air Classic Games on WFAN

PHILADELPHIA, PA – March 30, 2020 – Entercom, a leading media and entertainment company and the unrivaled leader in sports radio, has partnered with premier sports teams New York Yankees, New York Giants, New York Mets and the NCAA to air marquee games on WFAN 101.9 FM/660 AM (WFAN-AM/FM) in New York.

During these uncertain times, we wanted to take them back to some of the most iconic and inspiring games played by our hometown teams and in college basketball,” said Mark Chernoff, Senior Vice President, Entercom New York. “Our listeners can stay connected to their favorite teams by reliving unforgettable moments in sports history.”

WFAN 101.9 FM/660 AM, flagship home of the New York Yankees, will broadcast games from the Yankees’ 2009 World Series championship run on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. ET. Prior to each game, Yankees Radio Network broadcasters John Sterling and Suzyn Waldman will join the station at 6:30 p.m. for special previews.

Mets broadcasts will air Thursdays and Fridays at 7:00 p.m.
