PHILADELPHIA, PA – November 19, 2019 – Entercom, a leading media and entertainment company and one of the two largest radio broadcasters in the U.S., announced a two-hour live “I’m Listening” event, presented by Recovery Centers of America and hosted by radio and television host and addiction medicine specialist Dr. Drew Pinsky. The program will air on Today’s 101.9 (WLIF-FM) Facebook Live on Thursday, November 21 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Dr. Drew and a panel of expert speakers will discuss substance abuse, suicide prevention and information on how to get help.

The program will take place in front of a live audience at the Entercom Baltimore Performance Studio. Morning show talent Gina Crash from Today’s 101.9 and Jason Kidd from 947 The Drive (WIAD-FM) will lead the discussion along with Dr. Drew. They will be answering questions from both the in-studio audience and Facebook Live viewers. “I’m Listening,” presented by Recovery Centers of America is aimed at challenging the stigma and isolation surrounding mental health and showing those affected that there is help. “I’m Listening” is Entercom’s yearlong multiplatform initiative to raise awareness around mental health. The campaign includes suicide prevention PSAs, on-air promos and a dedicated website with information and resources to end the stigma around mental health discussions. The company also aired a two-hour live nationwide “I’m Listening” broadcast special on mental health awareness on September 8 to mark the start of National Suicide Prevention Week.
