PHILADELPHIA, PA – September 30, 2019 – Entercom, a leading media and entertainment company and one of the two largest radio broadcasters in the U.S., announced the appointment of Chris Roth as Program Director for classic hits station 94.7 The Drive (WIAD-FM) in Washington D.C., effective immediately.

In this role, Roth will work closely with Entercom classic hits format captain and sister station K-EARTH 101 (KRTH-FM) Program Director Chris Ebbott to accelerate 94.7 The Drive’s ratings growth.

Roth is a radio veteran who has spent the majority of his 20-year career in the D.C. metro area. Prior to joining Entercom, Roth held multiple programming and on-air roles for iHeartMedia, Hubbard Broadcasting, Salem Media and Red Zebra Broadcasting in Washington D.C., Curtis Media Group in Raleigh, NC and Centennial Broadcasting in Winchester, VA.
