DC Law Supporting Austin Area Veterans through Audacy’s Connecting Vets

Audacy Austin has teamed up with veteran owned personal injury law firm DC Law to support military veterans in the Austin Area. Connecting Vets (dclawconnectingvets.com) offers those who have served and their families a source of veteran related news, podcasts, videos and resources.

Connecting Vets features news such as health benefits, new legislation, podcasts – including Navy veteran and journalist Phil Briggs’ Eye on Veterans – and assistance for mental and physical health, employment, housing and more.

“Dan and his team at DC Law do an amazing job of serving the Central Texas community,” said Bob Mackay, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Audacy Austin. “We are excited to work with them on the Connecting Vets program, which is an important pillar of Audacy Austin’s commitment to serve our local service members.”

“Sponsoring this program and veterans in general means a lot to DC Law,” said Dan Christensen, Attorney, DC Law. “Having served in the Armed Forces myself, I know first-hand the sacrifices made by our servicemembers on a daily basis. They deserve not only recognition, but also financial, organizational and emotional support from all of us who benefit from their efforts.”

Audacy is committed to saluting our military heroes. ConnectingVets.com is our platform connecting our communities to the camaraderie of the veteran experience, as well as vital resources.

Audacy supports the health and success of the communities that are the heart of its business. Connecting Vets is a part of Audacy Serves, the Company’s social impact platform that raises awareness of social issues and brings communities together for good. Audacy unites with its listeners and brands to support sound communities through several pillars of impact: mental health, diversity, equity and inclusion, the environment, veterans and service members, children’s health and civic education.
