Brian Purdy Inducted to Texas Radio Hall of Fame
Audacy Regional President Brian Purdy has been named to the Texas Radio Hall of Fame Class of 2025.
“Brian is a true servant leader who has mentored so many working in the radio industry throughout the great state of Texas,” said Bob Mackay, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Audacy Dallas.
Purdy has served as a Regional President and previously Dallas Market Manager for Audacy since 2017. Today, he has oversight of our Austin, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Madison, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, New Orleans, Phoenix, Portland, Seattle, St. Louis, and Wichita markets.
Before joining Audacy, Purdy held various roles for CBS Radio, including Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston Market Manager and Dallas-Fort Worth General Manager. He also previously held sales and market management roles for Clear Channel Dallas and Houston.
The 20 Hall of Fame honorees include broadcasters, marketers, managers of radio operations, and on-air personalities. These “Lone Star Broadcasting Greats” will be celebrated for their dedication to the craft and the lasting impact they have had on Texas radio.
The induction ceremony will take place at the Texas Broadcast Museum in Kilgore on November 1.
