PHILADELPHIA, PA – August 5, 2021 – Audacy announces the addition of former professional football player, all-pro and Super Bowl champion T.J. Lang to 97.1 The Ticket (WXYT-FM) in Detroit and the Detroit Lions Radio Network, effective August 6. 

Lang will join Dan Miller and Lomas Brown as the sideline reporter. Lang will also be in studio on the station each week throughout the professional football season, joining “The Morning Show with Stoney and Jansen” and “The Mike Valenti Show with Rico” on Monday and Fridays.

His pro football experience will bring incredible insight to the station, especially on game days.”

Lang is a graduate of Brother Rice High School in Birmingham, MI and played for Eastern Michigan University before being drafted by the Green Bay Packers in 2009. Lang played ten pro football seasons, earning two Pro Bowls and a Super Bowl ring with the Packers during his eight years in Green Bay. He retired from the league in 2019 after finishing his last two years with the Lions.
