Audacy Portland’s 105.1 The Buzz Raises Over $25,000 During “Service Pet for a Vet” Campaign

105.1 The Buzz in Portland helped raise over $25,000 as part of the station’s 2^nd annual “Service Pet for a Vet” campaign.

Morning show co-hosts Liz and Mike teamed up with Northwest Battle Buddies to raise funds to adopt and train a service dog for a local veteran battling PTSD.

“Seeing the community come together for such a great cause made us ugly cry,” said Liz and Mike. “With times so tough it was moving to see so many people give what they could.”

From June 27 to July 1, the duo encouraged listeners to donate, sharing stories of hope and inspiration about how service dogs can save the lives of veterans.

Listeners can tune in to 105.1 The Buzz (KRSK-FM) in Portland on air, as well as nationwide on the Audacy app and website. Fans can also connect with the station on social media via Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
