WBEN NewsRadio 930 (WBEN-AM), Kiss 98.5 (WKSE-FM), WGR 550 Sports Radio (WGR-AM), and 107.7 & 104.7 The Wolf (WLKK-FM), Audacy stations in Buffalo, have joined forces for “Mission Give Where You Live,” their inaugural community-wide donation drive powered by NYSEG. All donations support the Buffalo City Mission in its mission to alleviate homelessness by restoring hope and dignity to those in need. Through local contributions, the stations successfully collected $4,250 in cash, six bags of food and five barrels of clothing to support neighbors in need throughout the winter months.

“Mission Give Where You Live” launched on December 1 at Dash’s on Hertel Avenue with live broadcasts from WBEN NewsRadio 930’s Joe Beamer and WGR Sports Radio’s Schopp and Bulldog. The broadcast featured interviews with Rich Barnes of The Barnes Firm, who contributed a $4,000 donation, and Dash’s Store Manager Joe Catalano, who shared the store’s enthusiasm for sponsoring the initiative. The momentum built through December 15 with another live broadcast by 107.7 & 104.7 The Wolf and WBEN NewsRadio 930, highlighted by a heartwarming gesture from a local customer who asked two Dash’s team members to shop for a full cart of food on behalf of him and his wife to donate. The drive took place from December 1 to 19 in partnership with Dash’s Market and The Barnes Firm.
