PHILADELPHIA, PA – September 20, 2023 – Today, Audacy announced that the all-new podcast, “Say More with Dr? Sheila,” starring Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning writer, actress, producer, and director Amy Poehler, will launch on Thursday, September 21 on the Audacy app and everywhere podcasts are available. The series will be the first in a three-season original scripted comedy podcast franchise from Audacy and Amy Poehler’s Paper Kite Productions, under the Paper Kite Podcasts banner, with executive producer Liz Cackowski.

The franchise will feature stories that parody and pay homage to popular themes in the podcast space. The second and third installments of the Paper Kite Podcasts franchise are slated to launch in 2024, including a female-led true crime series and a male-hosted and interview-driven show. Each character and story will live in the same, interwoven universe.

About “Say More with Dr? Sheila:” “Say More” stars Poehler as Dr? Over the course of ten episodes, Dr? Sheila will offer advice and counsel to ten couples on topics including infidelity, open relationships, ghosting, bickering, and more. 

Dr? Sheila is a world-famous therapist and life coach, host of the podcast “Say More,” and the author of the popular pamphlet “What’s Wrong With You?” Dr? Sheila has visited Harvard and was recently submitted for Time Magazine’s Person of the Year. She lives with her husband and two dogs in a city she’d rather not mention. 

To mark the launch of “Say More,” Dr? Sheila launched her own exclusive Audacy station, featuring some of her favorite music and artists, including Shania Twain, George Jones, Billy Joel, Weird Al, and Dolly Parton.

Audacy teamed up with Kroger for a special first-of-its-kind collaboration initiated by Dentsu: the opportunity to have the brand integrated directly into the script of one episode of “Say More with Dr? Sheila.” Episode 2, “Bickering,” features Poehler counseling fictional couple Jamison and Pam, with Kroger featured in the dialogue of their therapy session.
