In its commitment to LGBTQ+ mental health as part of I’m Listening, Audacy stations nationwide aired a conversation on Pride Month Mental Health and Suicide Prevention hosted by Corey Crockett. Corey spoke with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Christine Moutier, and longtime volunteer Bradley Balandis on the importance of mental health care within the LGBTQIA+ community.

CHANNEL Q also features Therapy Thursdays in its regular programming, with morning show talent CJ Robinson discussing various mental health topics and issues impacting the LGBTQ+ community with therapists.

On “We Can Do Hard Things,” Glennon Doyle, her wife Abby Wambach, and sister Amanda Doyle dive into “the hard things”: mental health, divorce, losing people, friendship, breakups, eating disorders, grief, sex, gender, parenting, blended families, bodies, anxiety, addiction, justice, boundaries, fun, quitting, and overwhelm. 1010WINS / WCBS 880

1010 WINS and WCBS 880 will report on all the Pride news across the city, starting with the New Queens Pride parade that has seen 50,000 spectators celebrate in the World’s Borough, making it the second-biggest parade in the New York Tri-State area.

WBBM Newsradio

Chicago’s WBBM was on hand for the city’s fourth annual Pride Flag raising, kicking off the month’s festivities. They also featured the great work of the Brave Space Alliance, a nonprofit that connects residents with resources to attend Pride events throughout the city.

KYW News Radio

KYW Newsradio highlighted Philadelphia’s “annual celebration of community and queer joy” at the city’s 52nd Pride Parade. An episode of Bridging Philly focused on a new LGBTQ+ exhibit at the Fabric Workshop and Museum, highlighting a local artist’s experience on her gender journey.
