Audacy’s Talk Radio 1370 Partners with Westlake High School to Broadcast a Weekly Pregame Show

AUSTIN, TX – August 29, 2022 – Audacy’s Talk Radio 1370 (KJCE-AM) in Austin has partnered with the Westlake High School football program to co-produce a pregame show prior to every Chaparrals football game this season. Talk Radio 1370 serves as the flagship station of the team, broadcasting play-by-play coverage.

Hosted by Joe Taylor, executive producer of the program and voice of the Chaparrals, and Talk Radio 1370 Assistant Brand Manager Kasey Johns, “ATX Kickoff, driven by Capitol Chevrolet” will get fans ready for kickoff each week. The show will also feature Texas A&M play-by-play voice Andrew Monaco, University of Texas color analyst Roger Wallace and Austin American-Statesman community sports editor Thomas Jones.
