Program Director and Midday Host to Remain on Power 96 in Miami

PHILADELPHIA, PA – December 11, 2019 – Entercom, a leading media and entertainment company and one of the two largest radio broadcasters in the U.S., announced a new multiyear contract extension with Miguel “Mijo” Irizarry. “Mijo” will remain as Program Director and midday show host on Power 96 (WPOW-FM) in Miami.

Mijo joined Power 96 in August 2017. He assumed the role of Program Director for Power 96 in October 2018. He has also previously held on-air roles for sister station 96.5 TDY (WTDY-FM, then Wired 96.5) in Philadelphia and Hot 104.7 in Portland, ME, where he also served as the station’s Music Director.
