Entercom Sacramento Partners With the Food Literacy Center to Launch the Raising Kale Podcast
PHILADELPHIA, PA – March 10, 2021 – Entercom today announced that its Sacramento market has launched the Raising Kale podcast in partnership with the Food Literacy Center. Raising Kale will be available nationwide via the RADIO.COM app and website, beginning March 10.
Produced by Entercom Sacramento, the Raising Kale podcast is an educational call to action with food. Hosted by Amber Stott, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Food Literacy Center, the podcast will welcome distinguished guests to explain the impact food has on various aspects of our lives and offer ways listeners can help in their local community.
“This podcast proves that people can use food to make the world a better place,” said Stacey Kauffman, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Entercom Sacramento. “Sacramento is America’s Farm to Fork capital, so we see the intersects and impact first-hand that food has on our health, economy, environment and community. By sharing these powerful and engaging stories, we seek to educate and inspire our audience on how food can be a tool for good, and how they can make a difference in their own homes and communities.”
“This podcast represents a long-time goal of mine for the nonprofit: to provide wider education to the public outside the walls of our elementary schools,” said Stott. “I have enjoyed building this podcast with the talented team at Entercom Sacramento. I get to speak to my peers in food thought leadership across the nation and share their powerful stories. These Kale Raisers are improving school lunch, building local food economies in Haiti, and ending hunger through culinary education in San Diego. I hope you’ll join me to learn more and raise kale in your own community.”
Raising Kale will be cross-promoted across Entercom Sacramento stations, which includes 102.5 KSFM (KSFM-FM), 106.5 The End (KUDL-FM), 96.9 The Eagle (KSEG-FM), 98 Rock (KRXQ-FM), ALT 94-7 (KKDO-FM) and ESPN 1320 (KIFM-AM), on air, digitally via RADIO.COM, and on station social media.
The Raising Kale podcast is available nationwide on the RADIO.COM app and everywhere else podcasts can be found. Fans can also connect with the podcast on social media via Facebook and Instagram.
