Entercom Los Angeles to Host Second Installment of “Justice Now! – Communities 2 Unity”

RADIO.COM Original Program to Discuss Music’s Role in Social Movements

WHAT:	Entercom Los Angeles will commemorate Independence Day by hosting the second installment of JUSTICE NOW! – Communities 2 Unity,” an on-air open discussion about the role music has played, and continues to play, in social change. Subtitled “Music for the Movement,” the RADIO.COM Original program will air on 94.7 The Wave (KTWV-FM), the soul of Southern California, as well as nationally via RADIO.COM and the station’s website. Co-hosted by The Wave’s Pat Prescott and renowned musician, author, cultural icon and station artist Sheila E., the program will welcome musician and activist Aloe Blacc to discuss the evolution of music in historical social movements, as well as what present artists are doing to make a difference. Singer-songwriter H.E.R. will also introduce her new song “I Can’t Breath.” “Our first ‘Justice Now’ program facilitated an important discussion about crucial community issues and was met with great success,” said Jeff Federman, Regional President, Entercom. “We are looking forward to another great discussion about the role music plays in uniting audiences and how the biggest stars in the industry are using their platforms to spark change.”
