The Upstate’s No. 1 News Talk Radio Station Can Now Be Heard on 101.5 FM

PHILADELPHIA, PA – November 6, 2019 – Entercom, a leading media and entertainment company and one of the two largest radio broadcasters in the U.S., announced the expansion of Greenville station 106.3 WORD (WYRD-FM) to 101.5 FM, effective immediately. The addition of this frequency extends the reach of the Upstate’s No. 1 news talk radio station to Anderson County.

Entercom launched 106.3 WORD in 2008 as 106.3 FM in Greenville and Spartanburg County, which had previously only broadcast on 1330 AM. The addition of the new translator will now allow the station to bring its signal to Anderson for the first time in the frequency’s 30-year history.

Listeners can tune in to 106.3 WORD (WYRD-FM) on-air, as well as nationwide on the RADIO.COM app and website. Fans can also connect with the station on social media via Twitter and Facebook.
