Station’s 10th Annual Awards Ceremony to Recognize Distinguished Women Under 40 In Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA – June 11, 2019 – Entercom, a leading media and entertainment company and one of the two largest radio broadcasters in the U.S., announced that Margaret Brennan, CBS News Senior Foreign Affairs Correspondent and moderator of “Face the Nation,” will serve as the keynote speaker of Philadelphia station KYW Newsradio’s (KYW-AM) “Women’s Achievement Awards 2019.” The station’s 10^th annual awards, which celebrates women making a positive impact on the Philadelphia region, will be held on June 27 at Loews Philadelphia Hotel.

The KYW Newsradio “Women’s Achievement Awards” celebrates women making a positive impact on the Philadelphia region. This year’s event will honor the accomplishments of five exceptional women, all under the age of 40, who were nominated by KYW Newsradio listeners. The honorees of KYW Newsradio’s “Women’s Achievement Awards 2019” are:

• Neha Gupta, Founder of Empower Orphans
• Brigid Jensen, Ph.D. Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Thomas Jefferson University Weinberg ALS Center
• Sheena Howard, Associate Professor of Communication at Rider University
• Michelle Kott, Captain at Bethlehem Police Department
• Anna Payne, Executive Assistant to Bucks County Commissioner, Auditor of Middletown Township Bucks County, Member of PA Rare Disease Advisory Board

The awards ceremony will be hosted by KYW Newsradio morning anchor Carol MacKenzie. Community Affairs reporter Cherri Gregg and afternoon anchor Michelle Durham will moderate an on-stage panel with this year’s honorees. The event will also feature a stimulating on-stage discussion with Margaret Brennan and the honorees, which will highlight the strategies and experiences that have helped them advance their careers, businesses and lives.
