Audacy Provides 258,375 Meals Through Sixth Annual “Giant Eagle Feed the Need Radiothon” to Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank
Audacy Pittsburgh stations KDKA News Radio 100.1 FM and 1020 AM (KDKA-AM), 93.7 The Fan (KDKA-FM), 100.7 Star (WBZZ-FM), Y108 (WDSY-FM) and WAMO 107.3 (WAMO-FM) came together on March 25 for the sixth annual “Giant Eagle Feed the Need Radiothon,” benefiting The Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. Together, they raised funds to provide 258,375 meals to community members dealing with food insecurity. The Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank aims to increase access to nutritious food and foster long-term stability for the region.

During the live broadcast on March 25, a lineup of special guests joined the stations to encourage listeners to donate online, through the call center or text message. Guests included Dan Smyers from Dan + Shay, as well as current and former stars, personalities and executives from the NFL, NHL, Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Pirates, Pittsburgh Penguins, Duquesne University and University of Pittsburgh.
