“We have severed ourselves from the world for 5 years making this show. While we have no memory of what happened during that time, we thought we should do a podcast for all the Innies who will have no recollection of watching, in an attempt to reintegrate them with their memory of the show,” said Ben Stiller and Adam Scott.  “We’re happy not to be working with Lumon Industries on this podcast and instead to be bringing it to the world with Audacy Podcasts, who would never send us to the break room.”

“‘Severance’ fans are in for a huge treat as Ben, Adam, and their outstanding guests go deep inside Lumon and behind-the-scenes of the making of the show and its many fascinating storylines,” said Jenna Weiss-Berman, EVP, Audacy Podcasts. “We look forward to an incredible two seasons.”

“Severance” is set at Lumon Industries, a company whose employees have undergone a medical procedure which surgically divides their memories between their work and personal lives. Mark (Scott) leads a team of office workers whose memories have been surgically divided between their work and personal lives. They begin a journey to discover the truth about their jobs–and themselves. The series also stars Patricia Arquette and Christopher Walken. Stiller was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Directing For A Drama Series for Season 1 and Scott was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor In A Drama Series. Scott started the production company Great Scott (formally Gettin’ Rad) with his producing partner Naomi Scott in 2012.
