Audacy Philadelphia Scores Sponsorship Extension with PNC Bank
Audacy Philadelphia and PNC Bank have extended their longtime relationship, with PNC continuing as the presenting sponsor of the Eagles Radio Network on SportsRadio 94WIP (WIP-FM), the flagship radio station of the Philadelphia Eagles. Eagles Radio Network is the home for gameday play-by-play broadcasts and pregame and postgame shows to 13 stations across the Philadelphia region.
“PNC Bank has been a longtime valued partner of Audacy Philadelphia, WIP and the Eagles Radio Network, and we’re delighted to continue our longstanding relationship,” said David Yadgaroff, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Audacy Philadelphia. “We look forward to collaborating to continue delivering experiences for fans and clients across the Philadelphia region throughout the year.”
“From Philadelphia to Wilmington to Camden and beyond, there are few better ways to support our hometown Eagles than by continuing to build on our terrific relationship with the Audacy team as presenting sponsor of the Eagles Radio Network on SportsRadio 94WIP,” said Joseph G. Meterchick, Regional President for Philadelphia, Delaware and Southern New Jersey, PNC. “The combination of a soaring team and the iconic voices of Merrill Reese and Mike Quick at the mic are unbeatable. We look forward to cheering alongside our clients and fellow Eagles fans as the season kick-off approaches.”
The sponsorship also includes on-air promotional reads from SportsRadio 94WIP Eagles play-by-play broadcaster Merrill Reese, who has been the Eagles’ radio voice since 1977.
The partners will also collaborate for client events throughout the year, including a virtual “PNC Inside the Huddle” to promote PNC’s Business Banking offerings. Hosted by WIP talent, including Merrill Reese, Mike Quick, Glen Macnow and PNC’s Meterchick, the event for over 250 PNC Bank clients will welcome special guests to give a behind-the-scenes perspective on all things Eagles heading into the upcoming season. Special guests currently include former Eagles head coach Dick Vermeil, former Eagles players Seth Joyner, Harold Carmichael and Jeremiah Trotter, Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham, and more. Guests also have the opportunity to submit questions and win Eagles prizes throughout the event.
