PHILADELPHIA, PA – February 28, 2022 – Audacy is proud to congratulate 99.5 WYCD (WYCD-FM) morning show co-hosts Rachael Hunter and Steve Grunwald on their induction into the Country Radio Hall of Fame. The co-hosts of “Josh, Rachael and Grunwald in the Morning” on 99.5 WYCD in Detroit are two of seven 2022 inductees, which were announced by multi-platinum recording artist Jason Aldean at Country Radio Seminar 2022.

“We’re so proud and happy to see Steve and Rachael inducted into the Country Radio Hall of Fame,” said Debbie Kenyon, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Audacy Detroit. “Together they have created so many memorable moments over the years that have entertained our community and the charitable work and community service they have each done has made a difference in so many lives. “To be inducted into the Country Radio Hall of Fame is an honor I’ve dreamed of achieving. I’m still pinching myself,” said Hunter. “And to top it off, to be inducted as a team, with Steve Grunwald, who I’ve logged over 20 years of morning radio with, is the cherry on top!”

“I am so humbled and blessed to be selected by my peers to be inducted into the Country Radio Hall of Fame,” said Grunwald. “It has been my honor and privilege to be at WYCD for the last 16 and a half years serving the amazing people of Detroit. I also could not have done it without my amazing partner Rachael.”

Hunter and Grunwald will be honored at the Country Radio Hall of Fame Induction and Dinner on Thursday, June 30 at the Virgin Hotel in Nashville.
