Audacy Announces 97.3 The Fan Padres Radio Network Broadcast Team
PHILADELPHIA, PA – March 21, 2022 – Audacy today announced Sam Levitt will join 97.3 The Fan’s (KWFN-FM) flagship broadcast coverage of the San Diego Padres as pregame and postgame host. Levitt will join The Padres Radio Network broadcast team alongside play-by-play announcer Jesse Agler and color analyst Tony Gwynn Jr, beginning this season.

Levitt joins the broadcast team after serving in multiple sports broadcasting roles, including as Director of Broadcasting and voice of the Arizona Diamondbacks Double-A affiliate Amarillo Sod Poodles; host and segment producer for Learfield IMG College, where he hosts pregame, halftime, and postgame shows on Loyola-Chicago men’s basketball radio broadcasts; and freelance college sports play-by-play broadcaster heard on the Big Ten Network, NBC Sports, and ESPN+. Levitt’s efforts helped him earn Ballpark Digest’s “2021 Minor League Broadcaster of the Year” award. Other previous roles include TV and radio play-by-play broadcaster for the Houston Astros Double-A affiliate Corpus Christi Hooks from 2017 to 2018 and director of broadcasting and media relations for the Gateway Grizzlies from 2014 to 2016.
