MIX 94.1 Raises $236,739 for Three Square Food Bank During its “Four Corners Food Drive” in Las Vegas

MIX 94.1 (KMXB-FM), an Audacy station in Las Vegas, raised $236,739 during its “Four Corners Food Drive,” with the support of its sister stations 98.5 KLUC (KLUC-FM) and Q100.5 (KXQQ-FM). All proceeds benefit the Three Square Food Bank of Las Vegas, providing 473,478 meals to Southern Nevada families facing food insecurity.

“Every year, the generosity of the Las Vegas community completely blows us away,” said Micah Powell, Promotions Director, Audacy Las Vegas. “The ‘Four Corners Food Drive’ allows us to connect directly with our listeners across every corner of the valley, giving us the opportunity to turn the community spirit into hundreds of thousands of meals for families in need.”

To collect cash donations and build awareness, personalities from all three stations broadcast live from four key Albertsons locations across the Las Vegas Valley: Centennial Hills, Green Valley/Henderson, the Southwest and Summerlin. MIX 94.1’s Mercedes Martinez kicked off the weekly efforts live during her Friday morning show, leading into joint three-station broadcasts every Saturday.

Beyond the live broadcasts and on-site collections, community members took part in an online auction that raised an additional $12,095 for Three Square. Featured auction items included 1-carat diamond earrings from Aaron Lelah Jewelers, luxury hotel and dining packages at Westgate Las Vegas, Gordon Ramsay Steak cooking classes, and premier golf packages at TPC Summerlin.

Three Square Food Bank remains Southern Nevada’s only food bank, working to ensure individuals and families throughout the region have consistent access to nutritious food.
