Audacy Announces Launch of Emma 94.1 in Seattle
SEATTLE, WA – September 4, 2024 – Audacy announces the launch of Emma 94.1 (KSWD-FM), a new voice for Seattle women. Most recently known as 94.1 The Sound, Emma 94.1 will celebrate the best music from the 90s, 2000s and today and feature artists like Bruno Mars, Harry Styles, Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, Maroon 5, Pink, Taylor Swift and more.
The station subsequently announces Eric Powers as Brand Manager. In this role, Powers will oversee the station’s content strategy, talent, operations and branding.

Powers has over 30 years in Seattle radio and has served as brand manager and afternoon host of sister station HOT 103.7 (KHTP-FM) since 2017. Previous positions include Westwood One’s national Hot Adult Contemporary voice, program director for KBKS-FM and program director and afternoon host for KUBE-FM. Powers can currently be heard on weekdays on HOT 103.7 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. PT.
