Entercom Philadelphia to Host “Pizzadelphia” Pizza Festival

WHAT:	Entercom is proud to host Philadelphia’s only city-wide pizza festival, “Pizzadelphia.” The family-friendly event will showcase over 20 of Philadelphia’s top pizza restaurants and food trucks with the mission to prove the city has the best pizza in the country. A portion of proceeds from the event will benefit the Coalition Against Hunger “Free Summer Meals for Kids and Teens” program, as well as a Pennsylvania Restaurant and Lodging Association scholarship. “Pizzadelphia” will feature a “Pizza Talk Stage” with a performance by the USA Team Pizza Dough Tossing Acrobats, a “Meet the Mongers” presentation with Di Bruno Bros’ Emilio Mignucci and Liberty Kitchen’s Matt Budenstein, and a dough tossing performance from the Jersey Pizza Boys. 98.1 WOGL (WOGL-FM) morning show co-host Marilyn Russell will moderate a “Chef Panel” and SportsRadio 94WIP (WIP-FM) Program Director Spike Eskin will host a “Social Media Food Influencers” panel featuring Philly Food Porn’s Andrew Alexander, PhillyGrub’s Marilyn Johnson, Food by the Gram’s Jacklin Altman and Savory Sweet Sisters’ Lindsey Kraus. Additional on-site activities will include a VIP hands-on pizza making experience with Pizza Brain’s Joe Hunter, DJ’ing by local favorites, specialty cocktails, local craft beer, games and more.
